Fade/Dissolve is an improvised music and sound art project consisting of Gordon Way (percussion and loops), David Story (synthesizer and percussion), and William Davison (prepared guitar and amplified objects). Based in Toronto, Canada, the group creates improvised, experimental "soundtracks" to imagined films using a variety of electronic and electroacoustic sound sources. These soundtracks are later paired with abstract video fragments to create surreal and expressionistic ambient music videos.

Winter 2020
