A exciting musical week ahead. Two drum auditions, one workshop, a trio jam, and a lesson with master drummer Terry Clarke.

tune 2 drum sets, smaller kit for trad jazz, the bigger set for big band.
pack for trad jazz audition: woodblock, cowbell, Wuhan china cymbal, splash.
stretch, stretch, stretch.

Trad jazz audition, this will be fun. I hope I'm a good fit.

Reviewing my Monday efforts

Jazz trio with my good buddies Rory and Jim. A pleasure playing standards for 2 hours.

Thursday

Teaching
Big band audition on drums. Oh boy, this will be memorable.
Unwind at the Annette street jam later that night. Celebrate or commiserate, that will be the question.

Friday

Masterclass with Terry Clarke, my mentor and coach. We will deconstruct the week's efforts.

Saturday

Teaching
Jazz trio masterclass with piano students. Rory and I will be accompanying my piano students as they work on their ensemble skills.
