Week of August 5th

1. Video, video, video week. I've learned to work a video editor and sync music. Yeah. 
2. Tuesday I meet with Ed Patterson and hear his jazz guitar looping. I'm intrigued. Possibly more on this later. 
   
3. Wednesday Jazz trio and lunch with the guys. My buddies Rory Slater and Jim Finlayson. I'm looking forward to sharing my new skills from the NOLA workshop with them. 
   
4. Thursday night is standards night: 1st on the piano with Tim Gofine. 2nd drumming at the Annette Jam.
   
5. I will be studying this week RCM curriculum for teachers to renew my membership. 
   
6. Daily piano practice is paying off. Hands feel great. 
   
7. Drumming highlight will be some coaching with Lowell Whitty. He really pushes hard.
